Can I control what contractors can see in SiteSurvey?

Yes. SiteSurvey lets you invite contractors as restricted users who can only see the tasks assigned to them. They have no visibility of other projects, other clients, or any data outside their specific assignment. This makes it straightforward to bring external teams onto a project without creating a data security risk.

Contractor access is configured at the point of invitation. You choose which projects and tasks they can access, and the permission level for each, whether that is view only, or the ability to complete forms and upload photos. Permissions can be changed or revoked at any time without affecting the rest of your account.

Contractors log in through the same mobile app as internal team members, so there is no separate system to manage. From their perspective, the app shows their assigned tasks and the forms or instructions attached to each one. They cannot navigate to other parts of the platform or see who else is working on the account.

When a contractor's involvement on a project ends, their access can be removed immediately. Any work they completed remains attached to the project record. Removing access does not delete their contributions, it simply prevents any further activity from that login.
