SiteSurvey GPS tracking relies on the location sensor built into the team member's mobile device, which typically provides accuracy to within a few metres under normal outdoor conditions. In built-up areas or on sites where signal is obstructed by dense structures, accuracy may reduce slightly, though the location remains close enough to confirm whether a team member is on site or in transit. In basements or plant rooms with no signal, the last known location is shown until the device reconnects.

Location updates are sent to the dashboard at regular intervals while the SiteSurvey app is active. Managers viewing the live map see positions that are typically no more than a minute or two behind real time.
