Can I run tasks in parallel within a single workflow?

Yes. Trigger Tasks allow you to launch multiple follow-up tasks simultaneously from a single completion event, enabling parallel workstreams within the same project workflow. This is useful for coordinating multiple installers or concurrent site activities.

To configure parallel tasks, you set up a Trigger Task at the relevant point in your workflow sequence. When that task is marked complete, the platform fires all of the linked follow-up tasks at once, each assigned to the correct team member with their own deadline and instructions.

Parallel execution is particularly useful at the start of a project programme, where multiple teams need to begin work at the same time, or at a handover point where several departments need to review the same submission simultaneously.

The Kanban board displays all active parallel tasks as separate cards, so project managers can see the status of each stream individually rather than waiting for all of them to resolve before the workflow continues.
