What types of data can be captured during a site survey?

SiteSurvey supports a wide range of data types including photos, video clips, GPS coordinates, barcode and QR code scans, numeric measurements, free-text notes, dropdown selections, checkboxes, signatures, and date-time stamps, collected directly on iOS or Android devices.

Each data type is configured within your form builder. A single form can mix structured fields with open-ended inputs, letting surveyors record everything relevant without switching between tools. All responses are timestamped and tied to the surveyor who submitted them.

SiteSurvey captures data offline and syncs automatically when a connection is restored. This matters on sites with poor signal, such as basement plant rooms, rural locations, or active construction areas where mobile coverage is patchy.

Because every data type lives in one structured record, there is no need to reconcile photographs stored in one place with written notes stored somewhere else. Reports can be generated from the collected data immediately after the survey is complete.
