SiteSurvey AI transcription supports over 30 languages, with UK English as the primary optimised language. Other well-supported languages include Spanish, French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Italian, and Dutch, reflecting the multilingual workforces common in UK construction and facilities management.

The language is detected automatically from the audio, so surveyors do not need to change any settings before recording. Where a surveyor speaks a mix of languages within the same note, for example switching between English and Polish when describing a technical item, the transcription engine handles this without requiring the recording to be split.

Technical vocabulary support varies by language. UK English has the most comprehensive sector-specific vocabulary, covering construction, FM, healthcare estates, and utilities terminology. Other languages use a broader general vocabulary, which means very specialised terms may occasionally need manual correction during the review step.
