Once connected, job assignments created in SiteSurvey appear automatically in each team member's personal calendar, and existing calendar events are reflected back in SiteSurvey as blocked availability. This means schedulers can see a realistic picture of who is free before assigning any job.

SiteSurvey GPS tracking relies on the location sensor built into the team member's mobile device, which typically provides accuracy to within a few metres under normal outdoor conditions. The app uses the same location services as mapping and navigation applications, so accuracy is consistent with what users would expect from those tools.

Jobs assigned to a team member in SiteSurvey are written to that person's connected calendar automatically, so they appear alongside other appointments in Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar. At the same time, events already in the personal calendar are read back into SiteSurvey and shown as unavailable time when managers are building the schedule.
